Been a while!
This past year has brought us many joys!
I won't list them all, but two highlights are.....
Our 2 oldest children were baptized. Not only baptized, but each gave their testimony at our church to our congregation. What an awesome day that was! Witnessing their faith grow over the years to this point has been such a blessing. We are beyond grateful for the church that God has planted us in where our family continues to grow in our Christian faith.

Our next highlight that has brought us so much joy is our new lil' blessing that has been growing in my womb over the past many months! After such a hard winter last year where I had a few medical procedures done, this was such a welcome gift. And a gift it truly is! I am now in my last few weeks and I cannot express to you the excitement that has overcome me. I could make a list of the hard parts I have had being pregnant at this time, but I don't really care to. They are nothing compared to the overwhelming joy I feel! I was walking out of the grocery store a few days ago and I just started smiling. I can't believe that God has chosen to bless us with another child. When I first found out that I was pregnant, I was elated, excited, surprised but then came worry over what others would think along with raging hormones. A few negative reactions came, and this momma had to pray through some negative thoughts. I hate even saying that, but it is the truth. Not everyone sees a growing family(past 2 or 3 children) as a blessing. I don't have that thought at all, nor do I understand it. But, I let other people and their opinions affect me.
Thankfully, that was short lived!
With each child that I have had, I have gained a greater appreciation and thankfulness for the miracle of life, the wonder of a child growing inside of me, and the undeniable beauty that each child brings to our family.
In the next week or two, I will finally meet this lil' one who has been growing in my womb, and I can't wait! Either can the rest of my family! Baby #6 is a hot topic lately. Will it be a boy or girl? What should we name him or her? Can I hold him/her after the birth?
Now that I am showing a lot, the younger ones are getting more excited.
They realize that something is growing in my expanding waistline :o)
Well, my next post will most likely be an announcement of who was born in this Christmas season, and I sure can't wait to share! As our family celebrates the birth of our Savior, we will either be loving on a child whom God graciously placed in our family, or eagerly awaiting the birth of this child. Either way, this Christmas will be an extra special one!
